I slept until 1:30 p.m. and I only woke up to a phone call from Ace asking for a ride home from dropping off the rental truck from the other day. I agreed, and said I’d meet him at the location at 5 p.m. I got up, and went to check my email. I decided to jump on GTA 4 again and kill some more time before going and picking up Ace.

At 4 p.m. I took a quick shower, got dressed, and waited for mom to get home with my car. When she did, I took the keys, and headed to go pick up Ace. When I picked him up we talked about the SDF meeting tomorrow and how he was in charge of picking who was going be on the panel to talk about the 48HFP. I had expressed interest, but Geoff seemed to want it more. So I did the “good friend” thing and told Ace that he could go on instead of me. The both of us were hungry, so we stopped off at Panda Express, ate some orange chicken, and then I dropped Ace off at the studio before going back home.

I wasn’t home for too long before Lauren called me to see what I was up to. She wanted to go hang out, but I still so wiped out from the weekend that I just wanted to relax. She understood and wanted me to call her back in a couple hours to see how I was feeling. I felt bad for blowing her off, but I really did just want to do nothing. Instead of sleeping, I surfed the net for a while, and started thinking about how I’d been letting THE ZURVIVALIST falter for a while. Then I started to think about how Noah had the suggestion of creating a questionnaire for all the listeners that wanted to participate but didn’t want to call in. I began to think about what kind of questions I would ask, so I loaded up MS Word, and began to type. While I was working on this, I got hit up on Skype by Jason (the first guy I interviewed for ZURVIVALIST), and I told him about what I was working on. We chatted some more about WWIF, and he gave me some suggestions about how to do some promoting. He suggested www.digg.com , www.twitter.com , and www.pownce.com . I had a twitter account, but I didn’t have a dig or pownce one. I figured that it couldn’t hurt by having accounts set up, so I did. But one thing I didn’t understand was how the fuck they worked.

As I was working on all this stuff, I popped on BIODOME as a throwaway movie to have on in the background. During the movie, I spent most of the time on twitter chatting with some girl from Australia and another from the vastness of cyber-space. When BIODOME was over, I threw in the unrated version of DRILLBIT TAYLOR and watched that as I finished up the questionnaire.

When I was done with the survey, I put it on the ZURVIVALIST website, and posted it on MySpace to get some friend responses. I finally crawled in to bed a little after 5 a.m.
