I didn't wake up until around 1 p.m., and it was fucking hot outside. I hate this time of year because it turns my room into an oven, and with 6 windows, all the heat seeps in. I can stand the heat, but when its muggy and humid in my room, it becomes something damn near unbearable. To combat this, I turned my fan on to full blast and aimed it directly at me.

Most of the afternoon I spent killing criminals and cops in Liberty City. I would have done this until it was time to get ready for work, but I started up a conversation with Melanie and we got on the subject of being hungry. I asked her if she wanted to get dinner and she said "Ok." We decided to meet up at Soup Plantation in an hour, so I shaved, showered, and tossed on some decent clothes (ie: a polo shirt rather than a PULP FICTION one). When I was dressed and all ready to head to work after dinner, I drove to meet her.

I met up with Melanie in front of the restaurant, and we went inside. The line was pretty long for a friday afternoon, but once we got in, we got our food and ate with no problem. We ended up talking for longer than I expected us to, which meant that I had to abruptly end our time together so I could get to work. I said "goodbye" and hauled ass down to theater.

Even with 3 new movies, we were slow as shit. The owner showed up and saw our lackluster crowd so he told me to start cutting employees as soon as I could. I waited until the first intermission was over with before I sent all non-essential employees home for the night. Marcus and I hung out in the box to finish up the night, and we watched SURF'S UP to pass the time. I hadn't seen the movie before, and I was kicking myself in the ass for waiting this long to see it because it was fucking awesome!

After the movie, Marcus went home, and I closed the box office up. Will and Mikey stayed on to clean, and when they had cleaned the parking lot Will offered to empty the trash cans around the building so I didn't have to (and so they could get off work 40 minutes early). I agreed to this, and they did half my job for me. When BABYLON A.D. ended I quickly finished cleaning the three piles of trash up, cleaned the bathrooms, and went home.

The rest of the night I spent in front of the computer, I didn't have much else to do, so I surfed the net until I got tired and went to bed.
